Before I tell you how it is possible to get free lessons on Transcendental Meditation, I will just tell you about the cost of TM courses. The cost of Transcendental Meditation lessons in the U.S at the time of writing are as follows - Full-time student: $750
- Adult course fee: $1500
- Couple: $1500 + $750 for your spouse
- Children under 18 (if learning TM with a parent): $375
- Those who are on a low income: $750
The cost of Transcendental Meditation lessons in the UK at the time of writing are as follows - If you have an income over £40,000 you pay £590
- If you have an income over £25,000 you pay £490
- If you have an income under £25,000 you pay £390
- If you have an income under £15,000 you pay £290
- For full time students over 18 the cost is £290
- For full-time students under 18 the cost is £190
- There are further discounts for couples, children under ten and groups and families.
If you can't or don't want to pay those prices and you want free lessons, here are some options. - All TM centers have one free introductory lesson.
- Try talking to a TM teacher about a scholarship.
- Talk to your boss and persuade him that providing TM lessons for his workers would be beneficial for the company
- If you have a great in demand skill you could offer your services in return for some TM lessons. The worse the teacher can say is no. Right?
